Methodology

Every tool on this site lives in a structured database with the same fields: pricing tiers, features, AI capabilities, pros, cons, and four scores. Pages are generated from that database, so a comparison never cherry-picks.

The four scores (1–5)

The overall score is the simple average. We show all four so you can weigh what matters to you — if you're technical, discount ease of use; if budget is tight, weight value.

Pricing verification

Every pricing table shows a verified date and links to the vendor's public pricing page (price_source_url in our data). Weekly automation re-checks entry-tier prices; changes appear on the Price Radar and price changelog.

We maintain a public price history — baseline snapshots plus every verified change. That history is the moat: competitors can copy paragraph text; they cannot copy months of dated price moves without doing the work.

Pages with data older than 90 days are flagged internally for re-verification.

Affiliate links and editorial

Some outbound links earn commission (how we make money). That never changes scores. Tools with no affiliate program still appear when relevant (Mailchimp, Zapier, etc.).

Reviews without an Our take section stay noindex until a human-written verdict exists — template-only review pages are not indexed.
