Crowtado Review (2026): Pay Rates, Approval, and Payout Rules
Quick answer
Crowtado advertises phone-based voice, video, and photo projects used to create AI training data. Its contributor pages list voice examples from US$18 to US$40 per hour and say payout requests start when an approved balance reaches US$10.
That sounds attractive, but the controlling contributor terms are more precise: hourly equivalents are estimates, work is paid only after a submission is approved, and Crowtado does not guarantee task availability, acceptance, working hours, or earnings. Use the AI training jobs comparison to place the advertised range beside Hub's published rate.
What the US$18–40 range really means
Crowtado's public contributor page gives examples such as script reading at US$18 per hour and rare-dialect recording at US$40 per hour. The rate depends on the brief and category. Some photo tasks are priced per image rather than per hour.
This is not a salary band. A task must be available to your account, you must qualify for it, and your submission must meet its acceptance criteria. The version 2 contributor agreement, effective August 4, 2026, explicitly says estimated hourly equivalents are not hourly-wage guarantees.
Before starting, read the amount and unit on the actual task. Do not assume the highest marketing example applies to your country, language, or profile.
Approval comes before the balance
Crowtado says submissions may be checked for recording quality, authenticity, consent, safety, eligibility, fraud signals, and customer requirements. A submission can be approved, rejected, held, or returned for more information.
Only a compensated submission approved under its task terms becomes an approved balance. Pending, incomplete, held, or rejected work is not the same as withdrawable money. The agreement provides a route to ask support to reconsider an outcome, but an appeal is not automatic approval.
Payouts and the US$10 threshold
The public site advertises withdrawal requests from US$10. Its terms add the conditions that matter in real life: identity and compliance checks, provider requirements, sanctions rules, country availability, possible bank or conversion fees, and delivery times that vary by payment method.
Reaching US$10 is therefore the point at which a request can start—not a guarantee of instant arrival. Check the payout option shown inside your account before investing hours in a project.
Why we would still start small
Crowtado's current contributor terms are recent, effective August 4, 2026, and independent payment history is still limited compared with older work platforms. Big community or payout totals on a marketing page are vendor claims, not audited proof for your account. Complete a few tasks, wait for approval, and test the first US$10 withdrawal before committing substantial time.
Eligibility, location, and privacy
Contributors must be at least 18 years old, legally able to accept the agreement, and permitted to perform the selected task where they live. Crowtado requires accurate identity, payment, tax, and location information. Hiding a material location fact or evading geolocation controls can lead to restrictions.
Recordings may include voice, face, surroundings, or other personal data. Read the task-specific consent and permitted use before submitting. If another person, a private property, a screen, or identifying information appears, confirm that the brief permits it and that every required consent has been obtained.
Crowtado's agreement says contributors retain ownership, but grant a broad worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license so the material can become datasets and train AI. A later withdrawal is generally prospective; copies already delivered and models already trained may remain. That is a material trade-off, not fine print to skip.
What StackPick verified—and what it has not earned
Marcelo's Crowtado referral URL is configured in StackPick and was checked in his authenticated affiliate area. That dashboard describes a US$10 referral reward after the invited contributor completes US$50 in tasks.
On 15 August 2026, the dashboard showed one signup, zero referrals that had reached US$50, and US$0 in referral commission. This review therefore separates a working, owned tracking link and an attributed signup from the economic result that has not happened yet.
If you sign up through the button below, StackPick may receive the stated reward after the qualification rule is met. It does not reduce the worker's approved compensation and does not make a task more likely to appear.
